Men that have bald head are at risk of being abducted or killed in murders associated with witchcraft in Mozambique.
The country’s police spokesman Inacia Dina at a press conference in Maputo stated that murdered bald men’s body parts and heads are being traded across the borders to Malawi and Tanzania where they are of value in witchcraft.

Dina said bald people have become the latest targets of witchdoctors in Mozambique, saying two bald men were recently killed, one of whom had his head cut off, and both had their internal organs cut out and stolen.
He added that two suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder.
The spokesman said that the attacks on bald men is a new outbreak in the trade in organ parts in which albinos are usually targeted.
Report said the attackers’ motivation come from superstition and culture as the local community thinks bald men are rich and that their parts can be used to enrich others.
Baldness in men is the most common type of hair loss. It is caused by the genes and male sex hormones.
