Veteran actress Bukky Ajayi died on Wednesday at age 82.

Ajayi, who was a Muslim died on Eid-Fitri celebration day, a day marking the end of Ramadan, Muslim holy month.
The veteran actress, who started out her acting career in the seventies featured in defunct “Village Headmaster” on NTA Network, and also featured in Amaka Igwe’s “Checkmate” and several home videos and soap operas.
The former NTA staff turned 82 on Monday, February 2, 2016.

Her last public appearance was at the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) in March in Lagos where she was the winner of this year’s AMVCA Industry merit award.
She was wheeled to receive her award at the event held at Eko Hotel and Suites.
The late actress was this afternoon buried according to Islamic rites at the Atan Cemetary, Yaba Lagos.
