Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, said that his career as a public office holder robbed his wife of him , hinting that on completion of his second term in office later this year, he would bid farewell to public office.

Aregbesola dropped the hint via his twitter handle, @raufaregbesola.
“My wife has been complaining that I have been spending too much time with Governance, What I know now is that when I leave office, I want to return to my Wife,” he tweeted.
The tweet, however, elicited replies from some twitter users with some taking out knives for the governor.
“Because you have lost your good reputation and you cannot contest for any post again otherwise you will be defeated. You can only get federal appointment from your co-religious fanatic. Come an contest for senator in Osun South-East, you will see your true picture,” Omoniyi Jebutudollar wrote.
