The report that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, is out in the UK on medical grounds has prompted the denial of his media aide.
An online platform earlier wrote that Atiku is unwell and left Dubai for the UK for medical reasons.
The report has drawn the reaction of the former vice president’s Media Adviser, Mr Paul Ibe, who in a tweet on his twitter handle, debunked the claim, and advanced reason for his principal’s travelling, “For the avoidance of doubt, the presidential candidate of the PDP and former Vice President of Nigeria (1999-2007) will be arriving in London on Monday, January 9 for meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday on the invitation of the British Government.”
