A nurse, Amarachukwu Nzekwe, arrested for deliberately burning her nephew with hot iron has explained what caused her injurious action.
Amarachukwu was videoed burning her 13-year-old nephew with hot laundry iron in furious anger causing the teenager bodily harm.
The video that circulated on social media caught the attention of the Commissioner for Women and Social Welfare in Anambra State where it happened.
It resulted in the arrest of the 38-year-old nurse, who according to those familiar with the case in defence of her action said, “I disciplined him for stealing from me.”
