President Muhammadu Buhari has recounted his early working life.
Buhari, as per a statement his media aide, Femi Adesina released, took a trip down memory lane during his visit to the palace of the Emir of Daura, Faruk Umar Faruk, after commissioning two roads in Katsina State on Friday.
The President, Adesina’s said, narrated how he started out as a manager in co-operative but had to give the job up due to pressure to pick a wife, and joined the army.
Quoting his principal, the media aide wrote: “I secured my first job early after school to manage a co-operative in Daura, but I had to escape and join the army when there was pressure that I should get married.
“I told Governor Aminu Bello Masari the story of how I left Daura to join the army. That was how God planned it. We make choices in life, but eventually destiny is before God.”
