Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike has imputed ill-usage of aides to Senator Ireti Kingibe.
The latter represents the FCT in the Senate.
The allegation made by proxy through Wike’s Senior Special Assistant (SSA), on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka came in response to Kingibe’s assertion that President Bola Tinubu made a mistake by appointing the former Rivers governor a minister.
Olayinka in a statement he released, accused the Senator of pretending to still be married to Ambassador Baba Gana Kingibe, claiming the couple were no longer together.
The spokesman who levelled maltreatment of aides against the FCT Senator wrote: “It is funny that someone who is using the name of Ambassador Baba Gana Kingibe, that is no longer her husband, believes that jumping from one television station to the other to disparage the FCT Minister will revive her dead political career.”
Before he added: “Unfortunately, Wike is not in the comity of frustrated politicians like Ireti ‘Kingibe’ who is treating her aides like slaves, refusing to pay their wages and entitlements for months.”
