Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, said he would declare any Local Government chairman in Abuja, who shuns the traditional-monthly security meeting security threat amid insecurity plaguing the area.
Wike issued this threat at a town hall meeting in the Abuja Municipal Area Council(AMAC).
The Minister said it has become imperative for the council chairmen to ensure the security meetings take place in their areas saying failure would attract negative consequence.
According to him, “How will you say you are not holding a monthly security meeting because you don’t have stipend? Henceforth, any chairman who fails to hold such meeting will be seen as a threat to security.”
