The police in Lagos have arrested Esther Paul, 27, for allegedly stabbing her lover to death.
The incident occurred at the wee hours of Sunday morning at Oba Amusa Street, Agungi, Lekki, Lagos State.
It was gathered that Paul allegedly stabbed the victim, Sadiq Dahiru, 21, with a knife and he died before they arrived Evercare Hospital for treatment.
Confirming the incident, police spokesman, SP Benjamin Hundeyin said the deceased’s stepfather filed a complaint, adding that investigation was ongoing.
He said an autopsy would be conducted to ascertain cause of death, adding that the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti would take over the investigation from the division.
