Woman found dead in Lagos hotel room

One of previous deaths in hotel room

A middle-aged woman, simply identified as Muinat, was on Saturday found dead at a hotel room in Ikorodu area of Lagos State.

The deceased, report said, had lodged at the hotel on Friday with her lover, a motorcyclist operator, who goes by the name, Alfa Sule.

She was found dead by the manager while on a routine check of the rooms with no mark arising from violence on her body.

By the sound of the narrative, it suggests her death may not have been caused by Alfa Sule, who is on the run. He was said to have abandoned his motorcycle in the hotel.

However, the police are not ruling out foul play and have launched a manhunt for him.

“There were no marks of violence on the woman; the said Alfa Sule was nowhere to be found, but abandoned his Bajaj motorcycle.

“The police visited the scene and found the corpse with foam oozing out of her nostril.

“Photographs of the scene and body were taken before the corpse was removed and deposited at the Ikorodu General Hospital morgue for autopsy,’’ Lagos State police spokesman, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, related this to newsmen.
