A jealous housewife, Salamatu Shehu has killed her husband in Rafin Gero village of Anka LGA of Zamfara State in fight caused by his decision to marry a second wife.
The killer housewife has been taken into custody by the police and is in line to face murder charge, according to the spokesman of the state police command, SP Muhammad Shehu.
Report said the deceased and his killer wife had grown apart with the relationship frosty on the grounds that Salamatu was a pain in his neck. allegedly picking fight with him without provocation.
It was said that tensed situation informed the decision of the deceased to move to divorce her and take up another wife to the chagrin of Salamatu whom in a fight with him hit him with a stool killing him in the heat of passion as he fell unconscious with efforts to revive him futile.
