An unnamed official of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has lost his life in the line of duty.
Another is in critical condition in the hospital.
Both men were in the team of EFCC officials that stormed a gathering of Yahoo Boys with the aim to make arrest.
Report further said that the deceased officer, an assistant superintendent, who recently completed a promotional examination was shot dead by one of the fraudsters during the operation.
By the account of Anambra State Police Command Spokesman, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the trigger-happy Yahoo boy has been arrested, adding that investigation is ongoing.
