Former Military Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon, has dismissed rumour of his death.
Social media was on Monday awash with report of Gowon exiting the world on Monday.
It got the disturbing attention of the retired Army general who in a statement his personal aide, Adeyeye Ajayi released debunked the claim.
Quoting his 89-year-old principal, Adeyeye wrote, “I am still around and well. I am not in a hurry.”
