Rumour that Gov. Seyi Makinde will vie for presidency in 2027 has drawn his reaction.
The governor is spending his second time in the saddle of Oyo State, with report emerging that he is eyeing Nigeria’s number-one office and would have his hat in the ring come 2027.
Speaking to newsmen at the Fashola Agribusiness Hub in Oyo, Makinde spoke on the rumoured presidential ambition saying, “We didn’t achieve these things because someone has a presidential ambition. I am old enough to make my own decisions, and if I want to do something, I will say it. No one can push their agenda onto me.”
