The Nigerian Army has dismissed four soldiers, Sani Munzani (24), Abubakar Auwalu (26), Abubakar Sani (23) and Muazu Hassan (22), over allegation bordering on stabbing an official of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Kingsley Chimetalo, to death.
The incident happened in Bida area of Niger State about two weeks ago.
The suspects came under investigation and court martial by 18 Brigade, Nigerian Army, Bida, after they killed Chimetalo in a physical fight with some NDLEA officers at a checkpoint at Rahmatu Dangana Junction in Bida.
Chimetalo was stabbed in the back with a jack knife and his rifle taken away by the soldiers.
The latter in turn were arrested and following their dismissal from service will now have their days in the law court.
