Abdullahi Abubakar Darma, Special Assistant on Religious Affairs to Governor Aminu Masari last Friday mistakenly killed his daughter, Ayshertu with his car.

The unfortunate incident happened at the bereaved father house in Katsina while he was reversing his car, and oblivious to him that the toddler was behind the car, ran over her. She was reportedly confirmed dead at the hospital. 
The Katsina governor’s aide related the incident in a post on his Facebook Page saying in Hausa “A few minutes ago, I got tested by God. I was reversing my car when I crushed my daughter mistakenly and she died.”
An outpouring of condolences immediately followed the post on the social medium with one Sultan AbuBakar Siddeeq writing, “Our senior colleague Abdullahi Abubakar Darma lost his child while reversing his Car, unknowingly the girl was at the back side of the Car she died a ghastly death. May you rest in perfect peace our loving Ayshertu!”
