It has emerged that one Stephen Ifeanyichukwu Ejezie, a former quality assurance specialist at Access Bank’s contact centre in Oniru, Lagos State, secretly recorded hundreds of video clips of his colleagues in the restrooms.
The news was broken by FIJ, a news medium which reported that Ejezie was caught red handed in the female restroom around 1:30 am on Wednesday.
Report said the workers, who are contract staff at the contact centre are into shifts, which render them to work late and sleep in the office.
On that occasion, Ejezie had gained access into one of the female restrooms, which are far from the male ones to carry out his dastardly act.
“Ejezie snuck into the ladies restroom. I believe he wanted to hide his camera as usual, so he noticed ladies coming and hid in one of the toilets beside the bathroom.
“He was found when a lady taking her bath noticed a phone recording her from the toilet cubicle, which is directly by the side of the bathroom. She noticed someone closed the water closet seat, and was making a video. She just saw the camera by chance,” the source told the publication.
It added that it became a serious issue in the office in which Ejezie’s phone was subjected to scrutiny leading to discoveries of several clips of male and female colleagues taking baths or naked in the restrooms on the devices.
He also came under police arrest and investigation, with a visit to his house by the police the day after he was caught culminating in the discovery of 400 of such videos on his laptop.
Report declared that he is into the business of selling them to white guys and Indians, and has an Onlyfans account, and is also on Telegram for that purpose.
Meanwhile, the publication citing the source said the bank management has dropped the matter and consequently the police have released the suspect at the expense of the victims whose nudity is in circulation online.
It was said that the bank only sacked Ejezie and have discouraged the victims from pressing charges for the sole reason of protecting the name of the bank.
