An Assistant Commissioner of Police(ACP) Abayomi Shogunle has advised young girls to wean themselves off dating internet fraudster, aka Yahoo boys saying the consequences were dire.

The appeal of Shogunle, who heads the Public Complaint Rapid Response Unit (PCRRU) of Police, followed the killing of a final year student of Adekunle Ajasin University, Miss Adenike Khadijat Oluboyo, daughter of immediate past deputy governor of Ondo State by his boyfriend, Adeyemi Alao, aka QS in a suspected money ritual dastardly act.
Alao, a suspected Yahoo boy, was believed to have conspired with some others in the shady trade to kill Miss Oluboyo and hid her remains under his bed. They were however, found out six days after she was killed after Alao’s sibling discovered her decomposing body under the brother’s bed where it was kept and reported the matter to police.
ACP Shogunle in a tweet via his twitter handle, @YomiShogunle, advised young girls to shun the temptation of dating fraudster. He wrote: “Dear young ladies, don’t date a Yahoo/G boy! Decomposing body of an undergraduate lady found under the bed of her Yahoo-Yahoo boyfriend (Adeyemi Alao a.k.a. QS) in a suspected money ritual activity in Akure, Ondo State.”
