Popular Yoruba actress turned politician, Funke Adesiyan has been appointed as Personal Assistant, Domestic and Social Events to the First Lady, Mrs. Aisha Buhari.
The thespian was an aspirant for the Ibadan South East State Constituency 2 in the 2019 general election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Her appointment and designation were announced alongside five others via a statement the Director of Information to the First Lady, Suleiman Haruna.
Others are: Dr. Mairo Almakura – Special Assistant (SA) on African First Ladies Peace Mission (AFLPM); Muhammed Albishir – Special Assistant on Organisation of African First Ladies for Development (OAFLAD); Wole Aboderin – Special Assistant on Non-Governmental Organisations; Aiyu Abdullahi and Special Assistant on Media and Publicity; Zainab Kazeem.
