It is no longer news that the marriage between busty Nollywood actress, Uche Ogbodo and Norway based footballer Ato Ubby Arthur which was consummated October last year has crashed like a badly arranged pack of cards.
What is news is that the actress has denied the marriage describing it as a mere co-habitation. Her word: “we did only introduction and we were never married.”
But Arthur’s father whose son is recovering from a brain surgery(pictured below on his sickbed) has described Uche’s argument as unfounded. The senior Arthur who is a pastor said he was shocked when he was told about the actress’ comment.
His words: “We went to her village and paid the bride price and after that she was still bearing her father’s name, I don’t know why she didn’t change it. If she is saying now that she is not married then she has divorced. Marriage is not by force. I am the father of Ato and I am telling you now that what she told you is a lie.
“I am a servant of God and I cannot tell lies, if she is saying that “she is not married” that means she has rejected us. if she has problems with my son this is the wrong way to go about it but we leave it all to God.”
