A staff of Kogi State Ministry of Agriculture, Agada Okpanachi, was on Thursday saved from killing himself by the patrol team of Federal Road Safety Corps. FRSC.

Okpanachi who sneaked into the bush to commit the dastardly act by hanging himself to a tree, was sighted by a commercial motorcycle in the middle of the act, who alerted the road safety corps when he ran into them on the road.
The patrol team were said to have hurried to the scene, and found Okpanachi in an unconscious state. In turn, they administered Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) on him and he regained consciousness.
“The hardship is too much for me and I can’t cope than to hang myself.
“For the past two years, I have not taken a kobo after wasting all my money going to Lokoja for screening,” he told The Nation when asked what motivated him to suicide.
