Wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha, has denied report that she flayed her husband for suspending Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen.
At the weekend, report was rife that the first lady in her characteristic manner lampooned her husband again over his suspension of Onnoghen, a claim she denied emphatically in a statement by her Director of Information, Mr Suleiman Haruna, on Sunday.
“It is important to inform Nigerians that the wife of the President has not made any public statements on the matter and therefore the commentary is untrue and fake. This is highly condemnable and we therefore advise the purveyors of such news to recant and desist henceforth,” Aisha said.
