A 70 years old widow, Mrs. Maria Okoh, has been sent out of Amaudo Nkpoghoro Village, Afikpo North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State after she was caught making love with her younger lover, a 30-year-old, on her late husband’s matrimonial bed.
In the report by The Nation, it is considered a taboo in Afikpo for a widow to make love on her late husband’s matrimonial bed.
A crowd gathered at the scene after Mrs. Okoh’s granddaughter reportedly raised alarm when she caught her grandmother in the act.
Subsequently, the community’s elders met, and took the decision to banish the septuagenarian and her toy boy from the village, the report said.
