Ex-International, Daniel Amokachi, has lent his voice to the growing call for the sack of Super Eagles manager, Gernot Rohr.
Rohr has come in for a lot of criticism after the Eagles shared the spoils with Leon Stars of Sierra Leon over two legs in the African Nations Cup qualifying matches.
The dismal results enraged a host of sports administrators and fans including the Sports and Youth Minister, Sunday Dare, who are calling for Rohr’s head.
Former Super Eagles star and assistant coach, Amokachi, has jumped on the bandwagon and went on to throw bribery slur at the Franco-German manager in an interview he granted Punchng.com.
“We have seen some decision taken by him (Rohr) which a right coach won’t. We cannot have a team where all of the players come from three agents and one of those agents represent the coach. That shows a lot of shady deals. In the last five years he has not shown has the right man for the job,” he told the paper.
