Suspected bandits have razed down a Juma’at mosque in Biyabiki village, Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

This is according to Daily Trust citing an unnamed source in the area.

The report has it that the terrorists stormed the area on Saturday at around 8.00pm for the operation during which a Primary Healthcare Centre, and at least 10 residential houses in Biyabiki village, Tsafe Local Government Area were also set ablaze.

It said, it was a reprisal attack that has to do with armed loyalists of notorious bandit leader Adamu Aliero whose younger brother, Isuhu Yellow, and his biological son were killed during a botched ambush against security operatives deployed to the Keta area nearly three weeks ago.

“They set places ablaze, including our Juma’at mosque and the local clinic, and destroyed 10 houses in an attack that lasted for nearly an hour,” the publication quoted the source as saying.
