Presidential spokesperson, Daniel Bwala, has claimed former President Muhammadu Buhari was worried about Nasir El-Rufai lying against him when Atiku Abubakar led a delegation of opposition to visit Buhari in Kaduna recently.
Bwala alleged this on his X handle, saying the immediate-past President insisted on having a camera cover proceedings of the meeting to prevent El-Rufai from going public with claims that he has agreed to join him in the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
“They went to meet @MBuhari and it was reported that he insisted the meeting be held in or on camera so that Elrufai would not go and say Buhari is joining SDP and PDP.
“Hard as they try, they are still struggling to convince Nigerians that they have any plan at all, needless alternative plan,” Bwala tweeted.
