A cyclist, Ayuba Dangana, has been killed by bike snatchers in Kwali Area Council of the FCT.
The melancholy event happened near Damakusa village on Monday, around 6:12 pm when Ayuba, riding his bike, was on his way back to the village from Kwali market.
Reports have it that his killers had lurked around a forest near the village and on sighting the ill-fated cyclist, emerged from the bush to stab him with knives, left him in the pool of his blood and fled with his bike.
The account further said that Ayuba was confirmed dead at a hospital in Kwali where he was rushed to by Good Samaritan while the matter has been brought to the knowledge of the police who have launched investigation into it.
