Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State has dropped Dr. Ibrahim Yusuf Ngoshe from the list of commissioner-nominees submitted to the State House of Assembly for screening.
Ngoshe’s dropping followed his travails at the hands of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over which the All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirants for the ticket of Gwoza State Constituency was arraigned in March for misappropriating N24m, property of Mairi Islamic Senior Secondary School, Maiduguri, while he was the school’s principal.
His past may have come to bite him as Zulum after initially announcing his name among the 18-Commissioner nominees left him out in the list transmitted to the State House of Assembly on Friday.
The governor’s spokesperson, Mallam Isa Gusau confirmed this a statement he released.
