A bride, Rebecca Oyedotun, has slumped and died during her wedding ceremony in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
Rebecca’s death cost her loved ones and sympathisers happiness.
It happened that the bride slumped in the middle of the bridal shower with her friends without previously showing symptoms of ill health.
The situation put a hold on the wedding between her Abiodun Oluwadamilare scheduled for the following day precisely Saturday, 19th August 2023 as she was rushed to LAUTECH teaching hospital.
Any hope of her safe return to continue the wedding was however dashed on Sunday as she fell to the cold hands of death.
“We quickly took her to LAUTECH Teaching Hospital in Ogbomoso. After some time, she was revived, and she appeared stable, and by dawn of Saturday, her condition deteriorated so she was confined to the bed.
“We were even required to take her to Bowen University Teaching Hospital for some tests, which we promptly did,” the bereaved father, an evangelist told newsmen.
