Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Senator Babafemi Ojudu, has reacted to the ordeal of former Governor of Abia State, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu, who was on Thursday sentenced to twelve years imprisonment by a Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos.
Kalu, a serving senator was convicted of N7.65bn fraud and laundering the sum, property of Abia while he was the state governor.
Ojudu in his reaction to the conviction in a Facebook post said similar fate awaited those currently stealing the country dry.
He wrote: “Those of you stealing now will have your day too. It shall not be long. Breaking: N7.65bn Fraud: Orji Uzor Kalu, APC Senator to spend 12 years in jail.”
