Twenty-five-year-old Saliu Oladapo has killed a 19-year-old, Miss Chinyere Ebere, after she turned up her nose at his dating proposal.

The sad incident happened at No 3 Obasuyi Street, Ijoka. Akure, the Ondo State capital.
The suspect has been taken into police custody. His victim, according to reports, sat for the recently concluded WAEC Exams.
The pair were said to be together at the aforementioned residence when suddenly argument ensued between them during which Saliu took out a knife and stabbed Chinyere in the chest causing her grievous bodily injury, which culminated in her death at Oke Aro Police Division where she and her attacker were taken to by neighbours.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr Femi Joseph, who confirmed the incident explained that the deceased enraged the suspect when she embarrassed him publicly after he asked her out, adding that investigation was ongoing.
