Mr. Johnson Musa, a civil servant was on Friday arraigned before a Lokoja Chief Magistrates’ Court after he took aerial pictures of a choice property in Abuja he alleged was acquired by Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, a year into his tenure, and posted it on social media.

Musa, an indigene of Dekina Local Government Area of the state was arrested in Abuja on Thursday by men of the Department of State Services.

He is charged with cyber stalking.

The court heard from the prosecuting counsel, Mohammed Abaji, that by Musa’s action he put Gov. Bello and the Kogi State first family and the said property under threat and potential harm.

Abaji, a senior legal officer in the state Ministry of Justice, opposed bail application by the lawyer of the 32-year-old saying the matter was under investigation.

However, the Chief Magistrate, Alhassan Husaini, granted the accused bail and adjourned the case to August 17.
