Emmanuel Offor, a football coach was on Tuesday arraigned before a Makurdi Chief Magistrates’ Court for conspiracy, criminal trespass and intimidation.
The 52-year-old coach resides at Eupi community in Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State.

He is accused of snatching the wife of one Alhaji Aliyu Onmonya, Sabina.
Onmonya told the court that on May 2, 2015, Offor enticed his wife, and married her.
The petitioner said he reported the matter at the Otukpo Divisional Police Headquarters and both Offor and Sabina were arrested and arraigned at Otukpo Magistrates’ Court.
He said after their arraignment, Offor conspired with three persons to attack and threaten him with a gun in his farm, adding that two of those men are now at large.
But the football coach denied committing the offence.
Subsequently the Chief Magistrate, Mr. Isaac Ajim, granted him bail in the sum of N40,000 and a surety in like sum, and adjourned the matter until July 24 for further mention.
