Two passengers on an interstate commercial bus have been killed while some members of the National Youth Services Corps (NYSC) travelling in same vehicle, a Sienna space bus, got kidnapped.
Their killers and abductors are bandits, who ambushed them at Ifon/Owo road in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo state on their way from Anambra to Owo, in the same Ondo State.
The attack which happened on Friday night was perpetrated by about 20 bandits, as per report.
It said one of the kidnap victims, a corps members, identified as Adewole Paul Oluwaseun was returning from the camp in Enugu.
Also made known, is that the bandits had contacted the family of a corps member, demanding N30m in ransom.
Additional report has it that, the driver of the vehicle and a young lady sitting at the front were both hit by bullets while attempting to escape the kidnappers.
It was further gathered that the corpses of the deceased have been deposited in the morgue of a private hospital in Ifon town
