Makana Ngari, a councillor representing Vulpi Ward in the Numan Local Government Area of Adamawa State has been declared wanted over alleged cattle rustling.
Ngari was declared wanted in regards to the said allegation by the state government.
The councillor, according to a statement Governor Ahmadu Fintiri’s Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wunosikou, released was involved in cattle rustling in violation of the oath of office he took.

The government said the act undermined its successful efforts at abating incessant violence perpetrated between the state and Taraba’s borders adding that no stone would be left unturned to ensure peace reigns.
It went on to appeal to herders and farmers to exercise restraints and shun reprisal attacks saying the rustlers would be brought to book.
The statement reads in part, “The Adamawa State Government has declared the councillor representing Vulpi Ward of Numan Local Government Area Makana Ngari wanted on allegations of cattle rustling.
“The councillor is suspected to be involved in illegal deals and cattle rustling which is a violation of his oath of office.”
