Former President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Dauda Mohammed is dead.

Dauda, who was NANS’ President from 2011 to 2012, and attended the University of Jos (UNIJOS) died of liver cancer at the age of 38.
The late comrade, according to report, had been battling the disease for a while and was in a flight to India for medical treatment on Sunday when he died five minutes to landing,
Also known as hepatic cancer, it is a cancer that starts in the liver. Its symptoms may include a lump or pain in the right side below the rib cage, swelling of the abdomen, yellowish skin, easy bruising, weight loss, and weakness.
The leading cause, according to Wikipedia, is cirrhosis due to hepatitis B, hepatitis C, or alcohol. Others include aflatoxin, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, and liver flukes.
