Former Miss Nigeria, Riata Anuku died on Thursday after a battle with cancer for two years.
Rita, 47, died at an undisclosed hospital in Abuja, her family said in a statement.
The mother-of-four who became a beauty queen at the age of 18, immediately after she finished secondary school is the younger sister of Nollywood actor, Hanks Anuku.
