Nigerian wonder-kid Bobby Adekanye has signed for Liverpool FC.
The 16-year-old announced the move on his Instagram page, where he posted a photo of himself at Liverpool.
The teenage sensation who was one of five transfers to Barcelona’s youth system that were banned from playing for the club in a clampdown by FIFA last summer over claims they had been signed illegally had been on loan at PSV Eindhoven.
Born in Nigeria, Adekanye moved to Holland when he was four to live in Amsterdam with his family, and played for Holland in February earlier this year at the Under 16 UEFA development tournament.
He arrived in Barcelona in 2011 after spending time with Ajax.
