Former governor of Taraba State, Danbaba Suntai on Tuesday celebrated his 53rd birthday in Jalingo, the Taraba State capital with a near empty guests.
Suntai who has been battling with health challenges following injuries sustained in an air mishap in 2012, was recently gifted a house by the state governor, Dairus Ishaku.
On June 30, 2015, at the house in Jalingo, Suntai celebrated his 53rd birthday anniversary without several of his cronies and well-wishers who despite the invitation extended to them shunned the event.
Sources told OrijoReporter that majority of the guests at the occasion were the ex-governor’s relatives, and the event was solemn with prayers offered for Suntai to get well.
