Afrobeat superstar Davido has openly remarked on his father’s generous donation of N1 billion to the Centenary Endowment Fund of the Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) Church.
Adedeji Adeleke had made the donation in memory of his mother, Esther Adeleke, during her remembrance service.
His singer son, Davido, took to social media to pay tribute to his father’s philanthropic nature, saying the Senior Adeleke loves throwing money at church and education.
This he said under a comment section: “Anything Church or education, no worry, you don cash out.”
He equally expressed admiration for his father on Instagram, saying, “My dear father inspires me every day. Love this man right here.”
The event was attended by prominent figures, including governors and dignitaries.
