A clergy simply identified as Femi, has under interrogation said his incestuous act of sleeping with his 13-year-old stepdaughter was on the orders of God.
According to report, the victim whose identity is concealed is now 16, while the incident happened in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.
The teenager had approached a Non-Governmental Organisation, the World Institute for Peace, to report the matter and seek Alternative Dispute Resolution.
In an affidavit sworn to at the Osun State Ministry of Justice by her, she explained that her stepfather took joy in sleeping with her since she was was 12 and at 13 impregnated her and aborted the pregnancy.
According to the young victim, she chose to suffer in silence for long to avoid a situation where her stepfather who has children with her mother would be jailed.
She also made all those claims at a meeting involving officials of the NGO, her school teachers and the man at centre of the matter.
On his part, the randy stepfather admitted to her victim’s narratives but pinned it on God, saying, “It is true I slept with her although I don’t remember the number of times I did it with her. I’m a pastor and it was God who told me to sleep with her. God also told me to abort the pregnancy.”
