Lagos State House of Assembly has suffered the loss of two staff members, Comrade Domingo Michael Adeleke and Miss Esther Adetimehin.
Both deaths occurred last week.
Comrade Adeleke(pictured), an Auditor with the Lagos State House of Assembly Service Commission and Chairman of the Lagos State Joint Negotiating Council (JNC), passed away last Tuesday while attending the 114th Session of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Conference in Geneva, Switzerland.
On Adetimehin’s part, a staff member in the Administration and Human Resources Directorate of the Lagos State House of Assembly Service Commission, her demise occurred shortly after giving birth to a set of twins.
On Thursday the Assembly announced their departure during the plenary session, with the Speaker, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, observing a minute’s silence in honour of the departed officers.
