Adeola, the younger brother to the recently deceased actress, Jumoke Aderounmu, popularly known for her role of Esther in popular sitcom, ‘Jenifa’s Diary’, has shared insider’s knowledge about the circumstances surrounding the demise of the late thespian.
Jumoke died on April 6, 2024, at a private hospital in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
The death of the 40-year-old sparked controversy after her aforementioned brother accused Funke Akindele of refusing to assist the deceased when she was down.
Adeola’s claim aroused Akindele public indignation arising from belief that the deceased had a protracted illness.
In an interview with Punchng in which the bereaved sibling made it known that the late actress was gearing up to relocate to the UK when death came calling also said she was in good health leading up to her demise.
“She was an introvert, and usually kept to herself. She was actually not sick. She just died in her sleep,” he told the publication.
