President Bola Tinubu said the time Nigerians will celebrate a robust economy is close at hand.

The greater number of Nigerians have been in dire straits occasioned by dwindling purchasing power, which the incumbent’s removal of oil subsidy and floating of naira against the dollar induced.

But on Friday in Lagos, the President assured Nigerians of light at the end of the tunnel in no too distant future.

This, is according to his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.

The latter credited the statement to Tinubu in a press release he issued, where he related what went down when his principal received state governors and the leadership of the National Assembly.

Quoting the President, Ngelale wrote, “Let us unite, rally around our leader, and catapult this nation to a greater pedestal. By December, I hope we will have cause to celebrate. Let us coalesce to take the nation to a greater pedestal.”
