A 24-year-old has been arrested for killing his father, Babalola Rotimi(Snr), in Magodo, Shangisha area of Lagos State.

Punch reported that the suspect, Babalola Rotimi (Jnr), was deported from the Ireland, after which he moved in to live with his parents in the Magodo Phase 2 area of Lagos.
It said the suspect was declared wanted after he killed his 59-year-old father, and stabbed his mother on Sunday, December 4.
The report says the suspect, who had been on the run, was apprehended on Monday after some residents caught him and alerted the police at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Yaba.
