Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President, Amaju Melvin Pinnick has alerted members of the public to activities of some fraudsters operating fake Facebook accounts in his name.
In a press release yesterday, the NFF boss denied the account while informing his friends and associates to desist from any form of interaction with the impostor.
“My attention has been drawn to an account on the popular, interactive social media channel Facebook, which carries my name and photograph.
“I wish to state categorically that I am not the owner of that account. One impostor somewhere is using my name and photograph.
“I am not against the use of social media but I want to make it clear that I do not have any account on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram’’
