Former Super Eagles Coach, Sunday Oliseh, said he was ‘suspended’ by Dutch second division club Fortuna Sittard because he disapproved alleged illegal activities perpetrated by the club side.
The club had announced on its official website on Wednesday the suspension of Oliseh accusing the former captain of the Super Eagles of bad behaviour.
Oliseh, however, has taken to his twitter handle to refute Fortuna Sittard’s claim and give his own side of the story.
He wrote: “I confirm: due to my refusal to participate in illegal activities at Fortuna Sittard and violate the law, I have been suspended from my duties as coach by the foreign owners of Fortuna.
“Unfortunate for the lovely fans, my players and our hard-fought phenomenal positioning for promotion.”
