Shade Tinubu-Ojo, daughter of President Bola Tinubu said other parts of the world are also having their shares of economic crisis.

Nigerians are currently suffering the effects of the economic policies of Tinubu’s administration with regard proclaimed fuel subsidy removal and floating exchange rate.

The policies combined to erode workers’ purchasing power and brought about high cost of living prompting protests in some states.

Shade who doubles as the Iyaloja General of Lagos State said the situation is not peculiar to Nigeria, and it’s worldwide.

The President’s first daughter stated this at the 2024 Mawlid Nabiyy of the Lagos State chapter of Aljamahatul Qadiriyyah Islamic Movement on Sunday while speaking to newsmen.

In her statement, she equally called for patience with her father saying among others, “My message to all Nigerians is to please exercise a little more patience. Everything will be alright; it’s just a matter of time. We need to keep our hope alive. There is an economic downturn all over the world, and not in Nigeria alone. But we pray Allah will see us through.”
