Former Chairman, Edo State Chapter of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Dr. Emmanuel Ighodaro, is facing trouble amid reports the NMA Disciplinary Committee has concluded investigation into allegation that he embezzled the association’s N6m.

Dr. Ujaddughe Moses, a member of the Association and Coordinator, Edo Central Zone of the NMA, in a statement released in Benin, the Edo State capital, alleged that

Dr. Ighodaro collected an unauthorised loan from a new generation bank on behalf of Edo NMA and stole the money after his tenure.

Dr. Moses said the NMA Disciplinary Committee found Dr. Ighodaro guilty of several offences including illegal withdrawal and embezzlement of N6 million.

However, Dr. Ighodaro on Monday denying the allegations saying it was handwork of his detractors.
