A former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Tarka Local Government Area of Benue State, Aondoakaa Yaiyol, has been killed.
Yaiyol until his murder on Friday night was the Commander of the Nigeria Hunters and Forest Security Services in the local government.
He was said to have been shot dead by his killers who stormed the scene where the dastardly act took place in two cars and two bikes.
Report has it that his wife last year died in similar manner while his house was then burnt by the perpetrators, one of whom was arrested, prosecuted and convicted.
The ex-convict on serving his term and late Yaiyol, another account said, had been having bitter exchange and issuing death threats to each other.
Report said the killing of the ex-PDP chair is linked to the formerly incarcerated person, adding that the police has launched a manhunt for the suspect.
